Atlanta Hawks guard Jeff Teague suffered a left ankle sprain in last night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs in Atlanta‚ according to The Atlanta Journal–Constitution’s Chris Vivlamore on Twitter.
X–rays taken following the game were negative.
The injury occurred with 4:51 remaining in the first half when he came down on Tim Duncan’s foot‚ forcing him to limp off the court and directly into the locker room. He did not return in the Spurs’ 105–79 win.
Hawks coach Mike Budenhozer said Teague would not be traveling with the team for a two–game trip to Milwaukee and Oklahoma City.
